Urban Box Season Ends

On Wednesday, December 30th, the last Urban Boxes of the season were delivered to buyers in Charlotte, NC. The Urban Box program began in July of this year as a pilot project and has since then resulted in a pool of over 120 buyers - and growing! The great appeal of the Box is the fact that it is quick, convenient, and packed with a great variety of produce, some of which is not available anywhere else on the web site.

The Box comes in a half share size for $17.50 and a full share size for $30.00. A typical mix includes an assortment of leafy greens, seasonal veggies (i.e. tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant), fruit when available, fresh baked bread, jam/jelly or honey, eggs, and occasionally pasture-raised meat. The items change from week to week and season to season.

We look forward to expanding the program in June of 2010, when we'll kick off another season of fresh and delicious Urban Box deliveries. Stay tuned!
