This week Foothills Connect unveiled the brand new Farmers Fresh Market web site, to rave reviews from growers, buyers, and (especially) our staff. The new web site will automate several processes that had previously been an administrative burden; it is also much simpler to navigate for both users and staff, having been built from scratch to meet the specific needs of the market.
One of the most exciting features is just for the farmers. Registered farmers can now upload their own products, maintain their inventory, and keep track of their orders through the web site. This new method of product management has been eagerly anticipated for months, and so far everyone seems to be happy with the change.
The new web site was developed by Zurv, a local web design firm that provides custom web site creation in addition to a variety of other services.
