Frank & Dierdre Lightsey, along with dogs, cats and horses live on Neverest Farm in Sunshine, NC. Neverest is the name of the farm and the attitude of the farmers- there's always something up! Frank & Deirdre enjoy tending their garden, with veggies, garlic and asparagus beds, and their orchard with Gala & Fuji apples, blueberries,figs, grapes and herbs. They also get great satisfaction from tending 6 hives of bees which produce some fine honey, predominantly wild flower with locust and sourwood overtones. Their latest venture is a few shiitake logs which are starting to produce some nice mushrooms.
