Moonflower Farm - MNFF

Jeff and Debbie Hill own and operate a small bedding plant nursery/farm on four acres in Rutherford County. The farming method at Moonflower is chemical free, French intensive. They grow everything from nasturtiums to micro greens year-round.

As a child in Forest City, Jeff loved to garden with his father and he has worked with plants in some way ever since. He was a landscaper for a time, and always maintained postage stamp gardens at home. Jeff lived in Charlotte for 20 years and worked most recently there in Internet radio. They moved back to Jeff’s hometown four years ago so that he could devote himself fully to farming.

Jeff loves what he does and feels most at home when he is working on the farm. He is convinced that the Farmers Fresh Market is the answer to Rutherford County’s unemployment.
