Beans ‘n Berries Farm in southern Burke County is owned and operated by Preston Loch Hoffman. With over 30 years experience as a farmer Loch has been using sustainable agricultural techniques for more than 6 years to provide a full range of chemical free vegetables, mushrooms and fruits. In addition to selling at local farmer’s markets, Beans’n Greens CSA was established in 2003 and now serves approximately 20 families in the Hickory-Morganton area. This year Beans n’ Berries Farm will be extending its season to provide a variety of winter greens.
