  • What is your delivery area?

    At present, we are only delivering to buyers in the following North Carolina counties:
    • Rutherford
    • Cleveland
    • Gaston
    • Mecklenburg
    • McDowell
    • Buncombe
    Please see our Delivery Schedule for details.
    If you are outside of this area, or do not see a drop off site near you, please contact us to explore the possibility of including your location.
  • How can I participate as a Grower?

    We are actively seeking local farmers to provide fresh, quality products to our customers. We know all of our farmers by name, and we want our customers to know you, too. Please contact us to learn more.
  • How do I purchase products?

    First, register as a buyer. After you register, you will need to wait for approval before being able to order. Once you receive an e-mail confirmation, and you can begin shopping for fresh, local produce, right through the web site!
  • Is there a deadline for placing orders for a specific delivery day?

    Yes, each delivery day has its own deadline:
    • Orders for Tuesday Delivery must be received no later than 12 noon on Monday.
    • Orders for Wednesday Drop Off must be received no later than 12 noon on Tuesday.
    • Orders for Friday Delivery must be received no later than 12 noon on Thursday.
  • Is there a minimum order amount?

    Yes. The minimum varies for Metropolitan Buying Club members and Restaurant/Wholesale purchasers:
    • Metropolitan Buying Club: Minimum order of $17.50 (the cost of 1/2 size Urban Box)
    • Restaurants/Wholesale: Minimum order of $200 to receive free shipping. Smaller orders are accepted, but the buyer must pay an additional $20 delivery fee.
  • What are your payment terms?

    • Preferred method of payment is credit/debit card at checkout.  To request other payment arrangements, please contact Kirk Wilson, Farmers Fresh Market Manager, or Pat Hardage, Foothills Connect Office Manager at 828-288-1650.
    • Any credit card adjustments or refunds must be approved by the Farmers Fresh Market Manager.
