Sugar on Front St.-Bakery!
Sugar is a small hole-in-the-wall inside of Old Books on Front St.! It is a bit of a one woman show-Samantha Smith does all the baking-and her mom and some lovely friend/employees do the barista-ing and fabulous customer service. Sam makes absolutely everything from scratch and uses no artificial flavors or colors. Sugar uses as many local products as possible which is pretty easy given the amazing abundance of NC! Sugar's focus is to provide tasty, old-fashioned comfort treats made with high quality ingredients and sold at a reasonable price. It's all about making people smile and letting them enjoy a sweet indulgence now and again.
