B & C Fowler Farms is located in the small town of Hallsboro NC just a spittin' distance from Hwy 74-76. Bryan and Chucky are a father son duo farming around 100 acres of corn, soybeans, peanuts, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, and various vegetables. Chucky, (the father) got his start in farming at a young age growing up on his daddy's tobacco farm in the Mollie community. After marrying Pam Hooks, Chucky moved to Hallsboro and has continued to farm on a small scale. Bryan (the son) also fell in love with farming at a young age. In 1995 when Bryan was 11 he sold his first crop of sweet corn for 5 dollars a bushel, Its safe to say that he has been hooked ever since. After graduating from NCSU with a bachelors degree in agriculture education and crop science, Bryan returned home to farm and work as an agriculture teacher at East Columbus High School. Since then the farm and the family has continued to grow. Bryan and his wife Ashley recently had a baby girl named Bailey who will be in the fields before too long. B & C Fowler Farm is looking forward to supplying customers via Down East Connect this year.
