Our free range chickens are hormone and steroid free.  They are fed a diet of free range grass and grain.  Our chicken backbones are sealed in clear packaging and vacuum packed at Williamsburg Packing Co. in Williamsburg,S.C. Lady is the queen bee on the Worley hill!  She is the lead herd dog on the farm!  She was found wandering on our farm 9 years ago and had no home!  She loves to watch the farm animals!  She watches them to see if they are where they are supposed to be.  Lady invites you to try our Chicken Bog Special !  Our chicken bog special includes:  2 Chicken Backs,1 Bag Collard Leaves snd 4 sweet potatoes. Chandler's favorite way to make chicken bog includes: 1 Dutch Oven,  2 Chicken Backs,  2 1/4 quarts of water, package of Mahatma Yellow Rice and mix it with 3 cups of white rice=4 cups total rice. Rinse chicken off and put in pot with 2 1/4 cups of water.  Add salt and black pepper.  Bring the water and chicken to a boil  Turn it down and let it simmer on the stove for 3-4 hours until chicken cooks off the bone.  Add dab stick butter,stir in rice mixture and let it simmer for 20 minutes.  Ready to eat!  Serves 7-8 hungry people!  Serve with cut up candied sweet potatoes!  To make candied sweet potatoes :  1 cup brown sugar,2 tbsp cinnamon,butter, couple of cups of water.  Cover potatoes with water,boil till tender.  Stick with a fork to make sure they are done.  People who try our chickens say they remind them of the ole' timey chickens their grandparents enjoyed!!!
