Raw Honey from Twin Creeks Farms
Our honey comes from the bottomland hardwood forests along the Cape Fear River and fields on our farm. Poplar trees, goldenrod and clover are some of the plants the bees visit to make honey. Twin Creeks honey is decapped with a hot knife, extracted, strained and packaged. We do not heat or centrifuge our honey. All of the processing is done on our farm. Since it is raw you may find some wax particles that have floated to the top. Our honey is usually very light in color and mild, it just depends on what the bees were working with. Packaged in 1lb (12 fluid oz) plastic jars. This is the last 24 pounds that we will have available until we take more honey from the hives in June.
